Christian? Christ-follower!

“It is my opinion that tens of thousands of people, if not millions, have been brought into some kind of religious experience by accepting Christ, and they have not been saved.”
- A.W. Tozer

It’s true that many churches have been filled due to the sinner friendly movement. If you appeal to the fleshly desires of the world, there is no doubt the world will come running – Hollywood can tell you that much. But nobody wants to go to Hell either. I’m sure there is none who would tell you that burning for all eternity sounded like a good option. Hell was never their problem. Their problem was with repentance. So a religious group preaching a message that says you can have your cake and eat it too doesn’t sounds all that bad to a damned world, does it.

We all know that what you bring them in with, is what you have to keep them in with. As a result people are having religious experiences by “accepting Christ” and as Tozer said, they have not been saved. Now we have a great number of churches filled with unsaved, religious, fleshly people, playing “Christianity” – or rather what they think Christianity should be. Now witness the tragic outcome…

Are we fools for Christ or are we being conformed to this world?

“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”
(1 Corinthians 2:14)

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
(Romans 12:2)
