    Uh-oh! Pseudo-Christians ain’t gonna like this.

    Many thanks for the reminder that even the redeemed need to be on guard against worldly affections and humbly beseech God for His mercy. May my affections be more and more for the Lord Himself and not for anything that my flesh craves. We oft label worldly benefits as “blessings from God” and end up giving honor to the “blessing” without ever examining it or self to see if the “blessing” brings us closer to God or pulls us away from Him.
